The National Weather Service will visit Keene on today to investigate reports of a tornado. Strong storms cut across southwestern New Hampshire on Thursday afternoon, and a weather spotter reported seeing a funnel cloud touching down at p.m. In the area, trees were knocked down, bringing wires down on roads. There were some power outages, but Keene officials said the damage didn&#;t appear to be too bad.

Police say the vehicle hit guardrails, drove into the oncoming lane and hit speeds of 60 miles an hour while driving into Winchester.  The truck was stopped with the use of stop sticks, which flattened the tires. Several agencies assisted in taking the juvenile, who will not be identified into custody.

"Lisa is still awaiting multiple surgeries before she is out of the woods completely," states Raymond's GoFundMe page. To say Lisa is in a great deal of pain is an understatement, and she faces a lot of challenges in the coming months as she adjusts to her new normal both physically, mentally and financially."

"Luckily, she’s pulling through, but it’s not without the support and help of the paramedics, firefighters, nurses, doctors, and her countless friends and family," states the GoFundMe page. In the crash, Braun suffered seven broken ribs, a broken sternum, a broken nose, and severe lacerations all over her body.

Braun works as an assistant in the vice principal's office at Brattleboro, Vt., Union High School.

Raymond is the manager of the Hinsdale RV Resort and Campground.
